Widow Support

Countless widows live in dire conditions, and they are our sisters and mothers. It is our duty to help and support them in any way we can. Beyond their grief and the helplessness they feel after losing their husbands, they now must fend for themselves and their children alone. All too often, orphans and widows are left to grieve and struggle. Every gift and donation can help alleviate their pain. 

One Humanity’s team of Muallimah sisters personally visits these families to offer assistance. We believe assistance and amanah should be given in a dignified manner with love and care as we would for our own sisters and mothers.

Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:

“The person who assists and takes care of the widow and the poor is like the person who is striving in the path of Allah or like the one who is fasting all day and performing Salah all night”
